Artist Body Column 2

I paint because I must. It is as essential to me as breathing. Inspiration from my travels, great music, the day as if unfolds and my garden keep me painting. Working in acrylics this past few years has opened up avenues to travel down in my search for meaning in my work. To paint in watercolour is like a dance but acrylic has seemed like a battle between me and the canvas. I think I am winning as I lay the paint down, showing you the world through my eyes. A world that is impressionistic, colourful, not quite perfect but an inspiring world all the same.
