Lake Superior’s windward shore was my formative landscape: metamorphic monuments, inland sea, skies ablaze; abstraction become my style. Making art has become my delight.

God’s faithful presence with us is my constant theme: the figures and spheres of my sculptural language speak of our interconnectedness with him in the world.

Clay’s transformation testifies of this: humble earth and life-giving water, through fire, return to become eternal, living stones.
